Responsible for evaluation and ongoing counseling of pregnant and post-partum women with substance use disorders as part of a multidisciplinary team of healthcare workers working within the Department of Obstetrics. Performs individual counseling with possible opportunity of developing a group for pregnant and new mothers. Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.

Ability to develop and implement a plan of treatment, continuing care and discharge plans for the patient and/or family.
