Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital part of an interdisciplinary team assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting care in efforts to deliver the highest levels of care to the patient and family.This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of CHRISTUS Health St. Frances Cabrini Hospital, and demonstrating behavior consistent with the Core Values.Behavioral Health RN plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care in accordance with facility and departmental policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice.This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others under his/her direction.

Cabrini has a 24-7 Rapid Response team with coverage just a phone call away. Clinical pharmacists support the RN and physician staff in Medication Management.

Requirements:

• Current Louisiana State RN Licensure
• Current BLS
• Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, and medical staff both verbally and written
• One year experience preferred

·De-Esculation Certification or certification within 90 days of employment
