Job Description
AAMC is working with a leading research and test development organization to develop the new MCAT2015 (MCAT®). The new exam is designed to help prepare tomorrow’s doctors for the challenges of our future health care system. If you are you committed to improving people’s lives and want to assist in designing a better test for tomorrow’s doctors, then you’ve come to the right place!

Our contractors are hiring full-time Editors.


Requirements
* Please note: These are full-time positions. Candidates selected for the Editor positions will be employed by our partners and not directly with the AAMC.

The test editors will write, review, and edit college-level Psychology or Sociology test items, as well as evaluate and revise test specifications.

Qualifications of the successful candidates include:

• PhD in Psychology, Sociology • Current or past teaching experience of undergraduate courses in the related discipline and/or test development experience • Demonstrated editorial experience • Excellent leadership and collaboration skills in motivating professional staff • High level of organizational skills a must • Deliver work products in a timely manner • Base work location: Washington, DC.
